Getting Started with the AI Marketing Studio
The AI Marketing Studio is your creative toolkit inside Vitals — a collection of AI-powered tools that turn your existing products into marketing assets: polished photos, videos, product pages, descriptions, and ready-to-post social content. You'll find it in the left sidebar of your Vitals dashboard.
What's inside
Image tools
- AI Photoshoots — create stunning images and marketing content from plain product photos, with AI-generated backgrounds from a text prompt or themed templates
- AI Background Remover — remove the background from your photos with one click
- AI Image Expand — resize your images into vertical, square, or wide formats, with AI filling in realistic surroundings — ideal for Instagram Stories, ads, and banners

- AI VideoGen — generate a video with a talking avatar promoting your selected product
- AI Image To Video — transform your images into short animated videos using generative AI
Content & strategy tools
- AI Page Builder — generate high-converting product pages using AI, starting from your Shopify catalog or an imported product
- AI Product Description — optimize your existing product description with AI to increase conversion
- AI Social Media Post Writer — generate social media posts based on a selected product or a key message
- AI Marketing Plan — generate a personalized marketing plan for your products, covering audience, channels, and strategy

How the tools work
Most tools follow the same simple pattern:
- Open the AI Marketing Studio from the Vitals sidebar and pick a tool.
- Select one of your products (or upload an image / type an idea, depending on the tool).
- Let the AI generate the result — an image, video, text, or plan.
- Review, edit if needed, then download the asset or copy the content to where you need it.
The tools create assets for you to use — they don't change your live store on their own. The one exception is the AI Page Builder, which publishes a product page only when you explicitly click Publish.
Credits and charges
The AI tools use a mix of included credits and pay-per-use pricing:
- Included credits — several tools (like AI Marketing Plan, AI Product Description, AI Viral Campaign, AI Page Builder, and AI Social Media Post Writer) use credits included with your plan that refresh every 30 days. Free allowances for image tools also depend on your plan.
- Usage-based charges — some generation-heavy tools (like AI VideoGen, AI Image To Video, and image generations beyond your free allowance) are billed per successful generation as a usage charge on your Shopify bill.
Each tool shows its remaining free generations or the price before you generate, and every tool's Help Center article lists its specific pricing details.
Frequently Asked Questions
Where do I find the AI Marketing Studio?
In the left sidebar of your Vitals dashboard. Open it to see all the available tools, each with a short description and a button to start.
Will the AI tools change my store automatically?
No. The tools generate assets — images, videos, text, plans — that you review and use where you choose. Nothing is pushed to your live store without your action; even the AI Page Builder only publishes a page when you click Publish.
Do I need anything special to use the paid generations?
Tools that charge per generation bill through Shopify's billing system, so your store needs an active payment method. Development stores without one can't use the pay-per-use tools.
What happens to the images and videos I generate?
You can download them right after generation, and recent generations remain available in each tool for a limited time. Download anything you want to keep — generated media isn't stored permanently.
Do unused credits roll over?
No — included credits refresh on your 30-day cycle. Check the counter shown inside each tool to see what you have left.
