Sorting your Reviews Manually

Besides the option of sorting your reviews automatically (more information here: Finetuning the Product Reviews Settings), you can also sort reviews manually - by having specific reviews shown first by pinning them.

Any reviews that are pinned will appear first before the other unpinned reviews.

How to Pin Reviews

There are two ways to pin reviews:

1. You can click on the Pin icon beside a review to pin that specific review:

2. If you are looking to pin multiple reviews at the same time, tick the checkboxes beside each review, open More actions and choose Pin reviews. To unpin, click the pin icon again or choose Unpin reviews:

If I pin a lot of reviews, how will they be arranged?

Pinned reviews will appear first in the reviews list on the product page, regardless of the sorting option chosen in the Settings. If a shopper uses the sorting button to pick another order, that order is used instead and pinned reviews aren't moved to the top.

The reviews that were pinned most recently will be shown first on the page. If multiple reviews are pinned at the same time, they will be ordered chronologically.

I tried to pin the best reviews, but they are not showing at the top as they should on the homepage. What's going on?

Pinned reviews also show first on the Featured Reviews (homepage) widget and the dedicated reviews page, as long as they are marked as featured. The rest follow your Sort Order setting. If a pinned review isn't featured, it won't appear there at all.

I want to make a specific review appear first before the others, but the reviews are already pinned in the app. How can I do it?

Simply unpin that specific review and pin it again, as the most recently pinned reviews will always be shown first.
