What is CreateMyStore.ai?

CreateMyStore.ai is a free AI-powered tool that builds a complete Shopify store for you — including design, product pages, sales copy, reviews, and 40+ marketing and conversion apps via Vitals. You pick a niche, choose your design preferences, and AI handles the rest.

Is CreateMyStore.ai really free?

Yes. Building your store with CreateMyStore.ai costs nothing. You will need a Shopify subscription to host and run your store (starts at €1/month for the first 3 months on the Basic plan), and Vitals has its own plan with a free trial. But the AI store generation itself is completely free.

Do I need technical or design skills?

No. You select a niche, pick your colors and banners, and the AI generates everything — from your homepage layout to product descriptions and SEO metadata. You can customize anything afterward, but no coding or design experience is required.

Account Setup & Onboarding

How do I create my store?

The process has six steps:

Pick your niche (e.g., Fashion, Electronics, Pets, Beauty, etc.)
Choose your design — select theme colors and homepage banners (or let AI generate them)
Enter your contact email
Create a Shopify account (opens in a new tab)
Install the Vitals app from the Shopify App Store
Generate your AI store

I'm stuck on the "Create Shopify Account" step. What do I do?

Make sure you complete all of Shopify's setup requirements in the new tab that opens: enter your email, start the free trial, add payment details, select the Basic plan, and add a business address. Once that's done, return to the CreateMyStore.ai tab and click "Next step." If you're still stuck, try refreshing the page or clearing your browser cache.

I'm getting an error when approving the Vitals plan.

This is a known issue. After clicking "Approve," Shopify may still be processing your payment details. Wait a moment and try clicking Approve again. If the error persists, make sure your Shopify payment information is fully set up and your billing is active.

I already have a Shopify store. Can I use CreateMyStore.ai?

Yes — but through a different flow. On the first screen, select "Re-design my existing Shopify store with AI." This creates a new draft theme for your store, so your current live store isn't affected until you choose to publish the new design. Note: this requires an active Shopify subscription.

Will redesigning my existing store overwrite my current theme?

No. The AI generates a new draft theme. Your current live theme stays untouched. You can review the new design and publish it only when you're ready.

Store Generation

How long does it take to generate my store?

Store generation typically takes a few minutes. The AI is creating your homepage, product pages, descriptions, review imports, and installing the Vitals app— so there's a lot happening behind the scenes.

My store generation seems stuck or failed. What should I do?

First, don't close the tab or navigate away during generation. If it appears stuck for more than 10 minutes, try refreshing the page. If generation failed, make sure Vitals is properly installed on your Shopify store and your Shopify account is fully set up (billing active, business address added). Contact support if the issue continues.

Can I regenerate my store if I don't like the result?

The AI store builder is designed for a one-time generation per store. However, you have full control to customize everything afterward — change the design, swap products, edit copy, and add or remove sections using the Shopify theme editor and Vitals.

Products

What products come with my store?

Your store is pre-loaded with AI-selected winning products based on your chosen niche. These are sourced products with descriptions, images, and pricing already configured.

Can I add my own products?

Yes. You can import products from AliExpress by pasting a product link, or add products manually through your Shopify admin. You can also remove any of the pre-loaded products you don't want.

How do I edit product titles, descriptions, or images?

Go to your Shopify admin → Products, then click on any product to edit its title, description, images, pricing, and variants. You can also use the AI tools in Vitals to rewrite or optimize product content.

Can I change the product prices?

Absolutely. All pricing is fully editable in your Shopify admin. Go to Products, select the product, and update the price and compare-at price as needed.

Design & Customization

How do I customize my store's design after generation?

Go to your Shopify admin → Online Store → Themes, then click "Customize" on your active theme. From there you can edit your homepage layout, change colors and fonts, add or remove sections, update banners, and more.

Can I change my theme colors and fonts?

Yes. In the Shopify theme editor, go to Theme Settings to update your color palette, typography, and other global design elements.

How do I add new sections to my homepage?

In the Shopify theme editor, click "Add section" on your homepage. Your theme includes 40+ premium sections — carousels, testimonials, banners, galleries, countdown timers, icon blocks, maps, and more.

Is my store mobile-friendly?

Yes. The theme is built with mobile-first design principles and is fully responsive. You can preview the mobile version in the Shopify theme editor by toggling the device view.

Where do the product reviews come from?

Your store comes pre-loaded with real product reviews to give your store social proof from day one. These are managed through the Vitals Reviews app.

How do I manage or remove reviews?

Open the Vitals app in your Shopify admin, navigate to the Reviews feature, and you can edit, hide, or delete individual reviews. You can also import new reviews or enable automatic review request emails to collect reviews from your own customers.

Can I collect reviews from my own customers?

Yes. Vitals includes automated review request emails that go out after a customer receives their order. You can configure the timing and content of these emails within the Vitals app.

Vitals & Apps

What is Vitals and why is it on my store?

Vitals is the all-in-one Shopify app that powers your AI-generated store. It includes 40+ tools for marketing, conversion, and growth — including product reviews, upsells, bundles, pop-ups, urgency timers, email capture, currency converters, and AI-powered marketing tools. It's what makes your store ready to sell from day one.

How much does Vitals cost?

Vitals offers a free trial so you can get started at no cost. After the trial, paid plans apply. You can view current pricing and plan details in the Vitals app or on the Shopify App Store listing.

Can I disable specific Vitals apps I don't need?

Yes. Inside the Vitals dashboard, you can enable or disable individual apps. Turning off an app removes its functionality from your store without uninstalling Vitals entirely.

What happens if I uninstall Vitals?

Uninstalling Vitals will remove all 40+ apps and their associated features from your store, including reviews, pop-ups, upsell widgets, and other conversion tools. Your store theme and products will remain, but you'll lose the marketing functionality Vitals provides.

Launching Your Store

How do I remove the password page and go live?

In your Shopify admin, go to Online Store → Preferences, scroll to the "Password protection" section, uncheck "Restrict access to visitors with the password," and click Save. Your store will be live immediately.

How do I connect a custom domain?

In your Shopify admin, go to Settings → Domains. You can buy a domain through Shopify or connect one you already own from a third-party registrar (like GoDaddy or Namecheap). Follow Shopify's guided setup to point your domain to your store.

Do I keep full ownership of my store?

Yes. Your Shopify store is 100% yours. You keep all profits, control all content, and can modify or transfer the store at any time. CreateMyStore.ai does not take any commission or retain ownership.

Billing & Plans

What will I be charged for?

Two separate subscriptions apply:

Shopify — Hosts your store. The Basic plan starts at €1/month for the first 3 months, then regular pricing applies.
Vitals — Powers the 40+ apps on your store. Starts with a free trial, then moves to a paid plan.

CreateMyStore.ai itself is free.

How do I cancel my Shopify or Vitals subscription?

To cancel Vitals: Go to your Shopify admin → Apps → Vitals → Manage subscription, and follow the cancellation steps.
To cancel Shopify: Go to Settings → Plan → Cancel subscription.

Note: canceling Shopify will take your store offline. Canceling Vitals will remove the 40+ apps but your store and products remain.

Troubleshooting

My store isn't loading or showing a blank page.

Make sure your Shopify subscription is active and your theme is published. Go to Online Store → Themes in your Shopify admin and confirm your theme is set as the active/live theme. If the issue persists, try accessing your store in an incognito window to rule out browser cache issues.

Changes I made aren't showing on my live store.

Make sure you clicked "Save" in the theme editor. If you're editing a draft theme, you'll need to publish it for changes to appear on your live store. Also clear your browser cache or check in an incognito window — browsers sometimes show a cached version.

I can't log in to my Shopify store.

Go to accounts.shopify.com and use the email you signed up with. If you've forgotten your password, use the "Forgot password" option. If you're unsure which email you used, check for the Shopify welcome email in your inboxes.
