Product Reviews App Navigation Guide

This document helps you quickly find and manage settings across our Product Reviews app. It provides clear, step-by-step navigation paths so you know exactly where to go if you are looking for a specific setting inside the app.

Instead of searching through menus, you can use this reference to locate settings related to the app such as colors, options, and other settings. Each setting is listed in the same order you’ll see in the Product Reviews app, making it easier to follow along and make changes with confidence.

Display a breakdown of all reviews using progress bars at the top of the reviews list, allowing easy filtering.

Show review box for products with zero reviews If unchecked, Product Page Reviews will only be shown on products that have reviews Checkbox
Hide the Product Reviews Main Widget on the product page Check this option if you want to use other Product Reviews widgets (like Carousel) while hiding the Main Widget from the product page. However, this won't hide the widget if placed via Shopify Editor. Checkbox

Card Clickable Area If the entire review card is clickable, both text-only and reviews with images will appear in the modal. If only the image is clickable, the modal will display solely the reviews with images. Option Open Modal by Clicking on Images, Open Modal by Clicking Anywhere on the review card
Show review dates Uncheck this if you do not want the dates of the reviews displayed Checkbox
Review date source Determine the type of dates to be displayed Option Show real dates, Show recent dates

Obfuscate Middle Letters, Show First Name, Show Initials Only
Show "Verified purchase” icon If enabled, it will show a Verified icon after the reviewer's name for those reviews that are deemed to be made by verified buyers. (Note: You can also mark any review as verified manually inside the app) Checkbox

  1. Publish a Reviews Carousel

Sets the specific location of the Reviews Carousel for the homepage and/or the product page

(note: If you already inserted the Reviews Carousel Widget via the Shopify Theme Editor, you do not need to change this setting)

When enabled, this places the Reviews carousel automatically near the end of the homepage.

Determines the layout of the Reviews Carousel.

The "Image Cards" layout can only display reviews that contain images. Choose "Text Cards" or "Testimonial" layout for text-only reviews.

 Determines the maximum width that the Reviews Carousel will have. (Note: The width will not exceed its container's width) Number Slider
