Set Up the Product Labels App

💡 Thank you for your interest in our Product Labels app! As it is currently in its Beta version, some themes may not properly support its application (But we're diligently working on making it available on many themes). For more information on which Shopify themes are readily supported, you may refer to the FAQ section below.

In a crowded ecommerce space, grabbing your customers' attention quickly and efficiently is crucial.

The Product Labels app is designed to help you highlight your product's key features, encouraging customers to make quick purchasing decisions. Whether you're showcasing a Best Seller, Limited Stock, or New Arrival, adding visual labels to your product pages can significantly boost conversions.

Why Use Product Labels?

  • Capture Attention: With eye-catching labels, you can emphasize important product details, such as sales, trends, or limited availability, driving urgency and interest.
  • Boost Conversions: Strategic labeling can lead to higher conversions by encouraging on-the-spot purchases.

Setting Up the Product Labels App

Here’s how to get started with the Product Labels app:

Enable the App

Start by enabling the app In Vitals.

Customize Your Labels

    • Label Layouts: Currently, you can choose between two layouts—rectangular or circular labels.
    • Label Text: Customize the text to match your message, whether it's "Best Seller", "Trending", or "Limited Offer."
    • Background & Text Colors: Select the colors you want for the label's background and text. You can choose any color combination to match your store’s branding.
    • Label Size & Position: Adjust the size, width, and height of the label, as well as its position on the product image. Sliders allow you to tweak the horizontal and vertical placement to move the label on the image.

💡 Protip: Always preview your labels and adjust their positioning to make sure they stand out without overlapping other elements on your product pages. Fine-tuning the position is vital to achieving a professional and polished look.

    • Corner Radius: If you’re using rectangular labels, you can control the corner radius to create rounded edges for a softer appearance.
    • Label Opacity: You can adjust the opacity of the label to make it more or less prominent, depending on your preferences.

Selecting Products or Collections

  • Once you've customized your label, you must select the products or collections where you want them displayed. The Product Labels app allows you to choose specific products or entire collections, giving you full control over where the labels appear. This ensures that your labels target the products that most need attention, such as best-sellers or limited-time offers.

Save the label

  • When you are happy with how the label looks, save it and then check its appearance on the store, both on desktop and on mobile.
  • Make sure it doesn’t overlap with other labels.

💡 Best Practice: Avoid using labels on more than 20% of your store's products. Labels are most effective when used sparingly, as overuse can reduce their impact and clutter your store's appearance.

Multiple Labels on the Same Product

If you're using multiple labels on a single product (for example, "Best Seller" and "Limited Stock"), you’ll need to manually adjust the position of each label to prevent them from overlapping. Additionally, check how the product labels from the Product Labels app interact with any existing labels from your store theme. You might need to tweak the placement of your custom labels to ensure they don't clash with the built-in labels from your theme.

Additional Tips to Boost Conversion:

  • Use product labels to highlight key promotions such as limited-time offers or best-sellers.
  • Combine labels with other promotional tools, like discounts or countdown timers, to maximize urgency.
  • Make sure the labels don't overshadow the product image but still draw attention.

With the Product Labels app, you can make sure your customers never miss an important product feature or promotion, leading to increased conversions and better sales.
