The Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) theme section is a powerful addition to your Shopify store, providing your customers with quick answers to common queries.

With the Vitals app, you can easily enable and customize this section to align with your brand and improve the shopping experience by addressing common questions upfront.

Installing the Frequently Asked Questions theme section to your Shopify theme

Before going to the Shopify Theme Editor to insert this theme section, you would first need to install it first from the Vitals app.

Once you have successfully installed the theme section, you can now go to the Shopify Theme Editor and insert it by clicking Add section:

Once added, you can simply move it around your theme editor for your desired location. You can even insert multiple FAQ theme sections on the same page, providing you more flexibility.

Customizing the Frequently Asked Questions Theme Section

Customizing this theme section is easy, as all its appropriate settings are already found inside the theme editor. You just need to click on a specific element of the theme section (on the left sidebar), and its customizable settings will appear on the right sidebar.

Question Block (You can add as many question blocks as you like)

• Question content
• Answer content
• Show button - when enabled, this will add a button inside the specific question block. You can define the link where this button will go when clicked. This is usually used if the answer you provided for the question is explained further on a separate page (like a "See more" button).
  • The following properties of this button can be modified
    • Button label - the text on the button
    • Button link - the link where the button will go to when clicked
    • Button Style - Filled or Outline
    • Text Color - can be changed via a color palette
    • Button Color - can be changed via a color palette
    • Button Size - Small, Medium or Large
    • Corner radius

Removing a Theme Section

Removing an unwanted theme section is as easy as clicking the Remove section button, after selecting a theme section:
