Accept New App Permissions

To support new features and improve functionality, Vitals may require critical updates, including new app permissions.

Why Are New Permissions Needed?

One of the most common updates involves granting Vitals access to Shopify’s Storefront API. This permission allows Vitals to:

✔ Retrieve real-time product prices

✔ Access up-to-date product titles

✔ Sync product media instantly

Without this direct access, Vitals previously relied on its internal infrastructure to update product information every few hours. However, this method sometimes led to price display issues, translation mismatches, and discount errors.

💡 Note: To ensure permissions are properly accepted and seen, please ensure that you are logged in as the storeowner account. (staff accounts may not see the permissions window)
