Hide Dynamic Checkout Buttons Through Theme Settings

The easiest way to stop showing the dynamic checkout buttons is to enable the Hide Dynamic Checkout Buttons app in Vitals. Alternatively, if you want to do this from your theme settings, here are Shopify's instructions:

• For product pages:
  1. From your Shopify admin, go to Online Store  Themes.
  2. Find the theme that you want to edit and click Customize.
  3. From the top bar drop-down menu, select Product Pages.
  4. In the left-hand toolbar, click Product Pages.
  5. Uncheck Show dynamic checkout button.

  6. Click Save.

     For your featured product on the homepage:

  7. From your Shopify admin, go to Online Store  Themes.
  8. Find the theme that you want to edit and click Customize.
  9. In the left-hand toolbar, click Featured Product.
  10. Uncheck Show dynamic checkout button.
  11. Click Save.

• For the cart page:

  Compared to simply hiding the buttons as suggested above, this also allows the additional checkout buttons in the first step of checkout, helping your customers checkout faster (but with discounts applied, this time).

  There's usually no built-in way in themes to hide the additional checkout buttons. This is because Shopify dynamically provides them based on the store's payment providers, the visitor's previously used payment methods, and their browser (e.g., Apple Pay will show up in Safari). Shopify provides instructions on removing additional checkout buttons from the cart page.
