What is VideoGen AI?

VideoGen AI is a feature in the Vitals app designed to help you create customized video presentations for your products. Using AI, it generates both the script and video content.

How to Access VideoGen AI

1. Open the Vitals app and select VideoGen AI from the left-hand menu.
2. Click the Generate Video button to start.

Steps to Create a Video Using VideoGen AI

1. Choose a Product:
   • Select a product from your store to generate a video for.
   • If your store is password-protected, manually input the following:
     • Product Title
     • Product Description
     • At least 3 product images or videos
2. Describe Your Ideal Audience:

• Specify the target audience for the video
• Select the language to be used.
• The tool will choose an appropriate avatar and voice-over based on the audience profile and language

3. Select or Edit a Script:
   • VideoGen AI will generate several scripts tailored to your product.
   • Choose one of the scripts or edit it to suit your needs.

4. [NEW] Select an Avatar:

   

   • VideoGen AI now allows you to select the Avatar or the person who is going to talk in the video.
   • Select from over 100+ avatars according to your preferred gender, age and site location.
   • If you choose Smart match, the tool will choose for you according to the content of the video.
5. Generate the Video:
   • Click the Generate Video button. This will bring you to Shopify's Billing platform to confirm the charge.
   • Confirm the charge through Shopify's Billing platform.
6. Access Your Video:
   • Once payment is completed, the video will be generated within minutes.
   • You can download the video to your computer.
   • The video will also be saved in the VideoGen AI dashboard for easy future access.

Frequently Asked Questions [FAQs]

Why didn’t my video show up after using VideoGen AI?

The video rendering process typically takes less than 10 minutes. If your video doesn't appear within this time, try refreshing the Vitals app by reloading the page and navigating back to the VideoGen AI tool. Your video should display as finished. If the issue persists, feel free to contact our support team.

How does VideoGen AI charge me for video generation?

You are charged only when a video is successfully generated and visible in your account. If the video fails to generate, you will not be charged.

To verify your charges:

1. Go to Shopify admin > Settings > Billing.
2. Check your most recent or upcoming bill for a breakdown of Vitals charges.
3. Charges will reflect only for successfully generated videos created by VideoGen AI.

I have the Vitals app on my development store. Can I use this feature?

Since this feature needs an active payment method on the store, development stores would not be able to use it.
