Back In Stock app not working?
You enabled the Back In Stock app, but you are still not seeing the "Notify when available" button for product variants that are out of stock? Refer to the checklist below to ensure that your products follow the requirements of the Back In Stock app.
Check if the variants of your products are out-of-stock.
The Back In Stock app works on a variant level. This means that the "Notify when available" button will only show if the selected variant in the product page has 0 or less stock.
Check if your theme is displaying the out-of-stock variants and if they are selectable.
Since our Back In Stock app works on a variant level, the variants need to be seen on the product page and also selectable so that the "Notify when available" button appears when the variant that is out of stock is selected. Refer to your theme settings on where to change this option, as it varies per theme.
Change an app setting If you are looking to have the "Notify when available" button displayed as well for product up for Pre-Order.
If you are looking to have your product variants that are for Pre-Order also show the "Notify when available" of the Back In Stock app, kindly change the setting labeled "Show on Products with Inventory Policy" to Both:
Check your Shopify Theme Editor or Vitals Editor to see if the Back In Stock app is properly inserted.
By default, the "Notify when available" button appears near your Add-to-cart button, depending on the theme. Consider checking your Shopify Theme Editor or the Vitals Editor to see if the Back In Stock app is properly inserted.
